Fran as we all know her was born on the island of Oahu. Grew up on the island of Lanai and graduated from Lanai High & Elem. School. Fran worked in various positions starting with Dole Company as a field labor during her high school years. After graduating Fran moved to Maui and worked in various jobs while on Maui. Fran eventually moved back to Lanai and worked with Castle & Cooke as a field laborer, then eventually a field supervisor. In 1991, Fran worked as a concierge for the Manele Bay Hotel and then as the Island Club Manager. Fran left the hotel industry and then worked for the Lanai Community Hospital as the Office Clerk and eventually retired.
Fran was a people person and made friends wherever she went. Fran had a spunky personality and a friendly smile. Fran loved family, friends who became her family, cooking, baking, gardening, karaoke,
Sewing, crocheting, the beach (even if she didn’t know how to swim), she was a helpful individual and helped anyone that needed her time. Fran’s time was endless when it came to family. She loved kids!!
Although Fran had one daughter, she raised a village of kids. Fran & her husband (Des) spoil their fur babies Coco & Butter. Fran is definitely Loved & missed by all that knew her. Rest in Love & Peace Fran!
