Obituary for George "Pauly" Seronio Sr.

George “Pauly” Seronio Sr., 90, of Ewa Beach, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2020 in Honolulu. He was born in Hilo, Hawaii, to parents Paul Seronio and Rose Minato. He retired from the Illikai Hotel as a bell captain, and from Foodland Supermarkets.

Pauly was predeceased by his wife, Charlotte Seronio. He is survived by seven children, Paulina (Al) Saddler, Rodney (Rhonda) Seronio, Bobby Joe (Connie) Seronio, Bryant Seronio, George Seronio Jr., Cookie Seronio, and Cindy (Bernard) Mokuahi; sister Rose Kurita, brother Robert Seronio Sr.; companion Delores Emberton; 23 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He had been promoted to Senior Grandmaster in Kajukenbo, and was an amateur boxer. He was also an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
