Obituary for Herman Kealakaikahakai Nunuha Jr.
Herman Kealakaikahakai Nunuha Jr, age 62, of Wai’anae HI, passed away on January 26, 2020. He was born on April 26, 1957.
He is reunited with his Wife, Rayne Kehaulani Nunuha and daughter, Hinano Nunuha; Survived by daughters Terri-Ann (Makusi) Penitani, Pikake (Chad) Young, Pakalana (Lynette) Kaholo, Mokihana (Stephen) Barnes, Ilimalani (Wesley) Laronal and Lokelani (Micah) Tucay; brothers Jimmy (Donna) Nunuha, David Nunuha and Walter (Karen) Nunuha; 19 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Herman devoted his life to his family and his community on the Leeward Coast. He was a proud Lawai’a decendant and loved sharing all his mana’o he had for it. He enjoyed being connected to Ke Kai and just everything around him, especially all his grand and great grandchildren.
Services to be held 11am on Saturday, March 7th at Kalaniana’ole Beach Park, Campsites 4-6. Scattering of ashes will be on March 8th at the Wai’anae Boat Harbor at 1:00pm. Casual Attire.
