Obituary for Ryan Arata Piimauna

On Thursday, April 4, 2019, Ryan James Arata Piimauna, loving husband and father of 5 daughters passed away at age 36.

Ryan was born on Sept. 06, 1982 in Honolulu, Hi to Fred & Merilyn Arata. He was very skilled in the Carpentry Trade doing Drywall. As a highly skilled construction worker, he was also known as a well rounded, all around kind of guy. He could do anything he put his mind to. If not, because he’s so Computer savvy, he would research about whatever he needed done and did it.

Some of the few positions that he acquired his skills from was as a Heavy Equipment Operator, Security Camera Alarm installer, Electrical Wiring, Plumbing, Landscaping, Computer tech, Flooring, Demo, Home remodeling and repair, DIY furniture building, Seashell Carving and artwork. The list goes on. He was a quiet, soft spoken, humble kind of guy that everyone got along with & a person you could count on to get things done. Above all, his main passion was being a Father. Nobody’s perfect, but he was one of the best at it.

Ryan is survived by his wife Lorraine Piimauna aka “Puku” & his five daughters, Mapumai, Jamie-lynn, Kaleohano, Rayn, and Heavenly. His father, Fred, and mother, Merilyn. His sisters, Shannon and Georgiana. His nephews, nieces, and grandnieces.
